This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter. In this chapter, the protagonist is waiting for the "reverse harem" to arrive. He has been waiting for this to happen for a long time, but he does not understand why the other characters are falling in love with one girl. He feels that they are all falling for the same girl, and he wishes that he could go to a "restau rant" to find out what is going on. He decides that they should go to the "family restaurant" instead of cheering him on. The protagonist then tells us that he is hungry, and that he wants to see the protagonist. He tells the protagonist that he just wanted to see him before the other guys, and now that he has seen him, he realizes that he deserves to be angry with Towa and Kamiyama. He says that he would be better off with the protagonist than either of them. He also says that they have just started their school trip, so he thought it would be interesting to see how the characters reacted to each other on the trip. He thinks that this is the first time he has ever wanted to do something like this, and it is not easy for him to hold himself back, as he did when he was in junior high school.
