About This Chapter
In this short scene, the Phaedrus discuss the possibility of a peace treaty with the humans. They are afraid that the humans will overrun the refugee camp where they are staying, so they will have to find a new place to stay. They also fear that Miss Maeika will be captured by the humans, and that she will be killed by them. They decide to hold the room in which they have planned to research the female halfwolf in the hopes that they will be able to use it in the laboratory. Suddenly, they hear a voice and a song, and they realize that they are in the middle of a battle. They realize that the goddess has brought back the parts of the halfwolf, but they do not know what to do with the weapon. They fear that if they falter, they will all die. They ask the goddess to help them, but she refuses, saying that they cannot possibly fit in the room where they keep the god-killers
