The half-wolf tells the captain of the Blood Queen's personal guard that he is to cease his journey to the island of Bones immediately. He tells him that the waters are full of spirits and that they have orders to bring him to the Island. He says that he thinks it is too late to see the ghosts, as they wrapped their sister's corpse in silver shrouds and lowered her into the sea. He adds that the storm is now raging and that the ship has not yet seen the sun. He promises to take care of the bones for him. He then tells the halfwolf that he must remember that he bore the bone from the island. The halfwolf promises to wait for the bones to be delivered to him and promises to deliver him to safety.
