In this chapter, we learn that swordsmanship is a learning process, and that learning external practice is important, but learning internal practice is even more important. In other words, swordsmanship can be learned from external practice, but it can also be learned through internal practice. This is why it's so important to practice both external and internal practice, because if you're not good at both, you won't learn anything at all.
