About This Chapter
As Ming and his brother Ming prepare to attack the monster, they are interrupted by the arrival of a "naughty kid bomb" and a "pants on fire" . Ming, who has been the guardian of the family for the past three years, laments that he misses the days when he was a shadow warden and can go anywhere he wants. He also laments the fact that his father has spent all of their fortune on the search for the family of the monster. Ming is also upset that he has not been home in three years and that he is surrounded by people staring at him and following him. Ming asks his brother if he is okay, and Ming says he is. Ming then asks if he can stop drinking. Ming tells him he is a lightweight and that drinking is not good for one's body. Ming says they are going to camp tonight, but he does not want to leave them to decide what should be done.
