In this chapter, the pirates discuss the abduction of Balthazar from the Serraglio. The pirates joke about the fact that they have brought the children to the island of Illyria, where they will be reunited with their sister, Aline, who has been living with them for seven years. Aline tells the pirates that she is pregnant, and the pirates tease her about her pregnancy. When the pirates find out that Aline has had another child, they kidnap her and take her away to the pirate camp in the Italian port city of Pescara. When they return, they find that the children have been taken away by the pirates, and that the pirates have taken Aline and her baby.
