In this chapter, we learn that Castalia's sister, "gemma," has married the pirate king, and that the two have been living happily ever after. In the meantime, however, Castalia has been "put a 'one flesh' illusion on" her by her mother, who has "made her feel as if she were one flesh" . When the two are alone together, the girl asks the pirate if he would like her to sleep with him. The pirate replies that he would, but that he has to go find the "new pirate king" before he can do so.
