He tells her that he loves her, and he hopes that he can "rush some half-assed confession" of his love for her, but he doesn't want to "trip over" himself. He says he'll just take a break from the game, and when he gets back, he tells Elmire that he sprained his ankle while playing the bingo game. He wants to go to a doctor, but Elmire won't let him, saying that he needs to "see this event through." Elmire thanks him, but only if he gets the kiss.
