Mr. Gadani tells his servant that he will not be leaving today. He says that he has been thinking a lot about the past, and that he fears that one day he will be gone as well. He tells Gadani that he thought that he was treating his friend with the same kind of love that he treated his own friend. But, Gadani says, that was not the case. Instead, he thought he was being treated like a king. He asks Gadani to take a shower.
