In this chapter, we learn that rio and kouichi have broken off their engagement and are now planning to marry someone else. Worried about the situation, rio tells us that he and his new wife have not yet told their families about their marriage because they were too busy with their jobs to tell them about it. He apologizes for his behavior, but says that he is going to try his best to be a good wife.
