Hirokazu's parents are very serious about their daughter-in-law's marriage, and he's trying to keep them in the dark about it. He's also trying to make sure that they don't know that he and his fiancee are engaged, because they're both too young to be married yet. Hiro tells his fiancee that they've been engaged only because their parents wanted it, and that he'll be going on a trip to Japan to do some sightseeing. He tells her that he has already booked a room for them both, but now he knows that she's going to be there, so he changes the booking so that they can all stay in the same room the next day.
