She is a good daughter, and Miyoko loves her father dearly. She tells Miyoko that her father is an old man, and that he has been dead for a long time. She asks Miyoko to tell her what it is like to be tied down, and when Miyoko says that she has never been, Miyoko tells her that she is only married on the condition that she be tied to someone old.
