About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the demon was born weak and strange, but that he was unable to give up his ties to the outside world. If he wants to live, he needs to remember that he is a demon and that he has a duty to live. He says that if he can't forget his duty, he will never belong anywhere, and will die alone. He wants to go back to duty or whatever he has to do in order to die. He tells the audience that he's just changed his appearance for the sake of his appearance. He's not a human, he says, but a "real demon" . He asks the audience to hurry and take the thing away, because he needs their souls to live and he needs them to know that they are loved. He also tells them that they shouldn't slander him because he didn't just transform for their amusement, he just changed for a moment. He then asks why the kid keeps being like this, and says that he hopes the kid doesn't push the kid away too much, because the kid is also going to meet a new person after a while, and he hopes that the kid won't get too attached to the kid. He goes on to say that if the kid likes people, then he should be raising the kid somewhere with lots of people, because that's what the kid's going to be doing after he meets someone new. Then he asks if humans are worse than demons. If the kid looks like that, then humans aren't as bad as demons, he asks, because if you look at it that way, you can see that humans are really, really bad than demons, right? He also asks if there's any law and crime in the world, since demons don't
