The next morning, the two men discuss the cat that was brought to them by the previous day's visitors. The cat coughs and water comes out of it, and the men decide to take it to a vet and treat it. The next day, the men leave the cat in the care of the other men, and they begin to work on their tasks. While they are working, the young man tells the others that the gap between them is not getting closer, and he tries to distract himself by making more mistakes.
