In this chapter, we learn that Yondu's mother, Guinevere, has remarried and is now the mother of his nephew, Yondu. The two of them have been spending a lot of time together, which makes the relationship even more awkward. When Yondu asks his mother why she hasn't asked her to hold on to their son, she tells him that she's been busy with her work and has been neglecting Yondu, who has been calling on her frequently. She says that she will visit Yondu more often, and Yondu will call on her more often. She's not sure why, but Yondu seems to have been calling her mother since the beginning, and she'll be glad to help him out.
