In this chapter, we learn that Yiyi's ex-boyfriend, Baryshevsky, is still very much in love with her, despite the fact that she has fallen out of love with him. Yiyi, however, is not so sure. She is worried that he will be jealous of her new love, and that she will be tempted to try to seduce him again. Baryushevsky, on the other hand, is confident that his new love will not be tempted. He tells Yiyi that he is a loving man, but that things didn't work out between him and his ex-lover. He says that he doesn't care how other people think of him, but if he can't trust his former lover, he's not sure what to do. He asks Yiyi to take him to her parents, so that they can judge whether or not he is trustworthy. Bar Yshevsky tells Baryeshevsky that he has found a new love in Yiyi. He admits that he would like to find her the right woman for the rest of his life. He's married, and he wants to find someone to spend his life with. He wants to know if she will continue to date Barysevsky, so he asks her to go to Niki's shop to find out if they're compatible. She says that she hasn't yet decided whether to continue with Bary, but she's sure that she'll do so once he turns 30, when his marriageability index will be much higher
