In this chapter, we learn that Nemo is trapped in a tunnel. He's been thinking about what to do, but he can't figure out how to get out of it. Nemo tells us that he's waiting for his guests, and that he has something special to show them tonight. He shows them a mermaid child, who is 10 years old. He says that the entire mermaid family has been annihilated by humans in the last 10 years, so how could a mermaid be so young?
