About This Chapter
The girls pack up their things and prepare to leave the city. Cailu tells them that he is incapacitated and that they will have to rely on Cailu for protection if they run into trouble. He tells Cailu that they should not meet with trouble because it is a "family trip" and it feels "like a family trip." Cailu says that he has seen no one in the city and that he just saw the mermaids running away together. He asks Cailu if there is something wrong with Senior and Cailu replies that it has been "hard for me as his master" to figure out the reason for Senior's strange behavior. He also says that Cailu will find out if Senior really wants to betray him or if he wants to "revolt on someone elses behalf." The girls say that they have no idea where they are going and that there is no way they could run into "demon's enemy."
