The narrator wakes up in the middle of the night. He's afraid that the ghosts will find out what's going on inside him. He hears a loud noise outside, and he's terrified that something is wrong. He runs outside to find his friends. They're late, but they're not. He tells them that he was scared that they'd gotten rid of his virginity before he could, and that they all heard his screams. He says that he wants to die. He asks if it's the worst thing that's happened to him, and they both agree that it is. The narrator asks if he can show his friend around the room, and the two of them agree that they can do that. The professor erases the attendance slip, so they can see each other's faces. The two men look at each other, and masaki says he'll show them around the class room, too. He wants to know if they can show each other around the campus, too, but he can't seem to find a way to do so. He tries to talk to hinata alone, but she won't let him, so he asks her to talk with him in the lounge. He doesn't want to talk about sex, he says, because he has such a bad personality. But he does want to confess his love for her, and then he can tell her about it in the next room.
