The narrator is having sex with his friend, who is hiding under the cover of a bath at a popular inn. The narrator tells his friend that he and the other men have come all the way to the inn to "bumfuck nowhere" . He says that if the men had discovered him, he would have found himself in a "merry-go-lucky mess" , but now that he is alone with a man, he decides to hide and wait for the men to leave. He tells the girl, "touch prod shudder" that this is a "let - down" and that there is only one man in the room.
