In this chapter, we learn that the "leader of the dark" is a young boy named Nemo. Nemo is a member of the "elf village," a group of people who live in a dark, mountainous area. The group is led by Melness, who is the leader of "the dark elves." Nemo tries to convince the other members of the group that he is the rightful leader of the elves, but they refuse to believe him. He tells them that the only way to get rid of the curse is for the people of the elf village to work out a solution to the problem.
