When the group arrives at the house of the artist from the previous chapter, the master explains that he has forgotten to tell them where their uncle's house is. He tells them that the artist team from the family will meet once a week, so he will take them there. He says that he will have someone come and take them to the church's area, where he will not be free to care for them. The master then explains that the knights of the family are the de facto rulers of the whole family. He compares the amount of time the zombies spend in the air to the amount that an average devourer can spend devouring an average human being. He explains that pestilence is the main cause of the zombies' weakness, and that they must capture the leader to defeat them.
