Back at the crossroads, the gang tries to figure out where they're going. They're not sure if they've run into someone or if they have actually bumped into someone. Zhang is all, "Dude, we're in the middle of nowhere, and we've just run into a guy who's dressed like a zombie." He's totally freaked out. He wants to know how to get back to the city, and he's also worried about the guy's makeup, which is popular in the era of the "zombies." Zhang doesn't know what to make of this, but he does know that the city of Florence had every chance of becoming a city in the century, but a serious outbreak of an infectious disease caused a lot of civilian casualties. The disease wasn't the cause of the patients turning into zombies, Zhang says, but it was a "sexually transmitted disease" , which means that even if you're the guardian of the child, you'll still be a kid.
