In this short scene, Shmoop introduces himself as a student at the University of Notre Dame. He tells us that he is in love with Mina and wishes that he could be with her. He also tells us about the rumors that he and Miss Mizumori are having an affair. He says that the rumors have gotten out, but that he still wants to make sure that everyone around him is aware of what is going on. He asks the other students if they have any news about the affair, and they tell him that it has gotten out. He then tells them that he plans to make a live performance of his new music at the upcoming House of Japan. The next performer to take the stage will be Shimizu, and he asks the audience to be on his side.
