In this chapter, Shulin prepares his little cub for battle. First, he wants to make sure that the cub is healthy, and then he wants him to grow up to be the best hunter in the world. Shulin tells the audience that he has just killed an adult fox, and that the fox must have been cunning. He also tells them that there is a flash sale at the mall for 50 gold coins to see his cub's progress. He wants to be able to watch his cub in action, and he begs Shulin to give him a loan so he can buy the flash sale.
