The servant tells the Governess that she has applied the medicine on her, and that she humbled herself so low to ask her to save the boy. The servant asks who the rescuer is, and she answers that the prince sent someone to pick her up. The Governess tells the servant to let the prince's person pick up the boy, as she has the antidote on her. She tells him that he has to detoxify the boy first, but she promises that she will not fall for tricks. When the prince comes, she tells him to set off a signal flare, and then she will wake the boy up. She says that she only gave half the antidote to the prince, who has regained consciousness. The other half is with the prince. She goes on to say that if the prince does not come, she will set the signal flare off, even if he does come. She then tells the boy that he can blame her for being bad, because she had to take him to school. If it werent for her, he would not have been poisoned, she says, but as soon as he awakes she will tell everyone in the house to have a lot of food and bring it to him.
