This chapter's epigraph comes from a poem by the famous poet em>/em> a href="http://www.amazon.com/Why-I-Didnt-Run/dp/B073Y1D1Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&sr=8-1&keywords=why+I+Didnt+Run" /a>. In this poem, the protagonist is trying to run away, but he is interrupted by the voice of the wolf king, who tells him that he is a traitor to the sect. He tells the protagonist not to worry, because he is going to die anyway. The protagonist, however, does not believe him, and runs away.
