Back in the city, Wu guang summons the beast with his jade talisman and tells him to escape. He tells his brother that he destroyed the beast's formation just before the priest casted the spell, and that the man who casted it is likely to be injured now. He asks who the woman is, and tells her that he will find her in the forest outside of the city. They arrive at their new home, which is surrounded by the forest and facing the fields of the south. They take a rest and get ready for dinner
