In this chapter, Kuangyun tells us that instead of the royal family, he's afraid that the wolf king, Miqiu Refeng, is actually the enemy of China. Everyone knows that Miqiu refeng's father tried to rebel against his father's old wolf kingdom, but he escaped a death sentence by using the power of the court. After several trials, he was able to escape the death sentence, and now he is the king of the gray wolf kingdom. The wolf king seems to have a hedonistic lifestyle, and he'd like to play with his new toy, the Chaos Beast, which is a small rabbit-like creature. He also mentions that the Chaos beast is a rare species, which means that it is going to be a plaything for the wolf-king. The two men decide to go to wuguang's house first, since guang is keeping xiang-linger there. They're surprised to find that guang has built an extravagant mansion, and they wonder how much of it has been stolen from the common people. They go to investigate, and find that the courtyard northwest of the mansion is relatively hidden away. They decide to break in, and discover that there are many luxury pavilions, corridors, and entertainment inside the mansion. They realize that they're going to have to punish guang for building such a luxurious mansion, but they don't have to worry about it. They just want to rescue a little girl, and show off their magic skills. They set up a trap, and the ice princess runs away.
