The gang arrives at the sky pit, which is much larger than the one in the photos, and they immediately begin to explore it. They find that there are many rumors about the place, and one of them is that whoever enters the pit will be "eaten by hungry spirits" . They also learn that several search and recovery teams also disappeared there, and that they haven't been found yet. They're going to have a tough time finding the truth behind these disappearances, since the pit is so big. They call on Lu Ju, who tells them that they have a new lead and need reinforcements to go to the pit. Lu Ju tells the gang that the former detective didn't get enough attention in the past because of the appearance of the mutant in the livestream, so the authorities took over the case. The gang decides to go after a break, but they don't really know what they're looking for.
