The narrator returns to the orphanage where he was a kid. He reminisces about his time there, and wonders if he still remembers some of the children who have special abilities. He looks around the orphanage and finds the office where the orphanage's chairman used to work. The office is creaky, and the information about the orphanages in the office is missing. The narrator runs to find the orphanage directory. He hears someone coming out of the doorway, but he can't find anyone. He runs back to the office and yells for everyone to get out. The door has been opened, and they have no place to hide.
