Newton and his men have been watching the mental health center for the last few days. They hear a thud outside the door, and they can confirm that there was one person in the room all the time. They also hear someone's voice outside, but they can't figure out how someone could disappear from such a high vantage point. Newton decides to go back to the police station to find out more about the previous cases.
