When the wolf's mother comes to see the young man, she finds him eating hot pot. She asks him how long he's been with his girlfriend, and he tells her that he hasn't been with her for a long time. She says that it would be nice if he were her daughter- in-law, but he doesn't want to leave her son without a fight. He says that she's already met before, and that it's best for her to not be his son's fiancee. He also says that the reason he brought the girl to meet him was not to ask her for his opinion of her fiance, but to ask for her opinion of his education. He adds that he is not a lady from a rich family, but as long as he likes his son, he will not let him become someone. He explains that he has arranged all sorts of social activities for the boy since he was a young man so that he wouldn't become someone else's boss. He then says that he and his son are in love. He tells his son to call him "father" and that they are both very mature, because they were afraid that other people would judge them. They are married on the same day, and they look just like each other.
