About This Chapter
The wolf explains that he was injured when he blocked the knife from the original da Niu. He says that he is having "temporary amnesia" and that when he tried to return to the body, he was seized with anxiety. He thinks that the original woman must have liked the wolf and sacrificed her life so that he wouldn't have to kill her. He also thinks that if it weren't for him, the woman would have never met wang-cai. The wolf says that if he hadn't joined the system, someone else could have joined and replaced her. The system also says that it was his fault that she got killed. He hopes that the system will pity her stupidity. He adds that the wolf is just a piece of meat, and that he has to treat the man with indifference. He tells the wolf that he's going to bewitched again by the evildoer, but he pulls back, saying that he doesn't like the wolf anymore. The reader is reminded that this is the first chapter of the book.
