In this chapter, the protagonist is introduced as "Sheep wn wolfs clothing honey" . He tells us that the protagonist's meeting with the author is going well, but that there's still no investor for the novel. The protagonist tells the author that he's wearing a "synthetic human skin mask" that's been made with a 3D printer. He's going to reveal his real face to the author, and she'll be super impressed. The author tells the protagonist that she's too polite to talk about her own work in front of the audience, and the protagonist says that the person who's supposed to be in charge of the meeting must be a "liar" and a "secretly smuggler of human skin." The author is all, "yeah, right. I've already done all the negotiations with the lee guys and they're going to invest in your novel!" .
