He tells us that he wants to use everything he has prepared to prove that he deserves his love. He feels as if he is watching mirrors, knowing that he is scared, nervous and why he cant move. He wants to be liked. He shakes off chang le's hand, but he still wants to help him. He blocks his hand again, and the narrator realizes that he did not use all of his power. He was supposed to perform martial arts while he made comic gestures, but chang Le made it clear that he wanted to take his hand. The narrator stands on the stage unaware of how she accomplished every move, and he wishes that the performance would be over and finished with quickly
