One year later, the narrator is still in high school. He's still a member of the school's youth club, and he's happy to be a part of it. He asks one of the other students about the whereabouts of the club's leader, teacher Dongfang. The teacher tells him that he has never cared about his reputation, and that he will never give up the club. The narrator decides to go to the police station to ask for help. He also decides to take over the duties of the teacher. He tells the students that the teacher doesn't eat, drinks, or sleep. He just sits around and gossips with them. The students are shocked at the teacher's behavior, but the narrator assures them that he is the cause of the trouble.
