The confident man, also known as "the confident man" , tells chang le that he's going to destroy the twin plan to betray them. He also tells him that li'er will always be on his side, and that she's learned a lot of tricks that she can use to get what she wants. . He then goes on to say that he has always treated him as an adult, rather than getting her to retain other people, because he knows that they still won't make her angry. He explains that they almost used up all their resources to help her, but now they've figured out a way to keep her happy. They've just got to get brother-chang-le to take a date with her. He would have told her if he likes her.
