Unable To Confess To Chang Le

In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Man Qian" . He is a young man who has just bought a new set of shoes and face paint. He tells us that he has no idea how to sell them to his uncles and aunties, and that he is afraid that his desire to see "chang le" has caused him to develop imaginary thoughts. He wonders why his appearance is so different from that of his fiancee, and wonders why she is so nervous. He starts singing out of nervousness, but then stops himself when he realizes that they are about to perform. He says that he had planned to go home, but now that chang le has appeared, he wants to stand in the crowd and be a loyal fan. He asks if the shoes can sprain his foot, but she doesn't believe him. He invites her to come and see him, and she agrees.
