The story begins with a chance encounter between a boy and a girl. The two fall in love and grow closer. Through various trials, they reconcile and become friends. However, they still do not know each other's whereabouts. The fifth prince, who is close to the girl, must know where they are hiding. He throws an apple at the boy, but the boy refuses to eat it. He tells the prince that it is a good thing he did not eat, because otherwise it would have come back out. The prince tells him that he is still so young, and that it would not be worth his life to die for someone else. He whips the boy and threatens to kill him if he does not give up.
