In the meantime, Cai Minghao has learned from his father that Cai Junhao has been spying on him. He is worried that his father will kill him if he reveals this information to the Fifth Prince. The Fifth Prince, however, is not worried. He has already given Cai Minjunghao military intel, and he has been able to trap him in the room with him. In order to help Cai Ming-hao, he sends for the princess consort, the butler, and the messenger, who are waiting for him. The messenger is sent out to find Cai Min-junghao, who is being held captive by the Fifth-Prince. The fifth-prince tries to trap Cai Ming, but he is able to slip him a note saying that he is the one who is spying on Cai Min. The prince realizes that the princess is using him as an excuse to protect Cai Jun-hao. He tells the prince to take Cai Min to the Empress.
