In the midst of the battle, a disembodied voice announces the arrival of the "goddess" of the North Star. The voice of the demon tells the assembled demons that they must attack the deity as one, and that they will never stop until the deity is burned. The demons, however, will not stop until they have destroyed the deity. The "Goddess," in turn, tells the others that he is coming to rescue them from the "demons." He tells them that he will destroy the statue of "the deity" and release the soul of "Li chen." He then shows them the statue, which he says is "attacking the mortal world."
