In the underground lair of the ice-drinkers, yan-song tries to hide his potion-making operation from the sight of the mask-wearing monk. Unsure of what to do, he asks the monk to show him the ingredients of the potion, which he has deciphered on the slate. The monk promises to use the potion to kill his mother.
