Okay, now we're back in Hirosaki, where we meet Hiroshi's younger sister, Kasuga, who's hanging out with her friend, nakamura, after school. She's been hanging out a lot lately, and she tells Hiroshi that she's having a hard time hanging out because of her friend's weird behavior. She also tells him that her mother is worried about her, and that she doesn't want him to hang out with his father anymore. Hiroshi tells her that his mother is in middle school now, and he's worried that her parents are going to get mad at him for hanging out all the time with his friend. He also tells her about his brother's missing dvd, which Hiroshi found in his room. He asks her to come over to watch it. She does, and Hiroshi is all, "what calm down ! . . I forgot to take my lunch money the day before, and left it in my locker when I came in the morning, it was gone!" . That's when he realizes what's going on. He realizes that his friend is weird, too, because she was with him the whole time he was reading his book. He's not sure why, but he knows that it's because of his friend that he can't talk to her anymore.
