The next morning, Hiro finds himself in the middle of a conversation with Enoshima. Enoshima asks Hiro why he hasn't brought a weapon with him, and Hiro tells him that he's going to be back in a few days. He's sorry that he didn't bring the weapon, but he doesn't know why. He says that if he goes to the research facility of Darnay, he'll never return to the city again. He also says that Enoshima is the one who talked him into going to Zoma, and that's why she invited him to come there. Hiro apologizes, saying that he tried to leave the city without telling anyone. He admits that he was caught up in his own thoughts, and he'd like to know if he drank the potion because he has feelings for Enoshima, or because he wants to push the two of them together, or pull them together. Hiro says that he has already made up his mind to go with Darnay and that he won't change his mind if he has to use Zoma.
