The Governess and the Governess are in the middle of a conversation when they hear a knock at the door. It's the voice of a young woman, and it's from a hotel in the mountains. The young woman is trying to get back to her family, but she can't find her way back to them. She's lost her sense of smell, hearing, and touch, so she's not sure what to do with herself. She starts to cry, and then she realizes that she has lost all of her senses. She realizes that the man she was talking to is a ghost, and that he's been dead for a long time. She asks the ghost if she can go back to the hotel, and the ghost responds that she can. She says she'll be back soon, but that she needs to get some food. She tells him to eat, and he does so. He realizes that he has lost his own body, and now he has to eat the ghost. He's worried that the ghost is going to kill him, but he doesn't know how to stop it. He wonders if the ghost has lost her senses, and wonders if she is really trying to hurt him. The ghost says that she is, and they're going to have to leave the hotel soon. He tells the ghost that they'll have to find a way to get to the mountains
