This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which we see the light dragon storm being launched by three "shadow clones" at once. This time, the light storm is coming from the same person as before, and this person is using his "thousand-year soul" skill to control the crane and capture the dragon. We learn that the person who controls the crane is a member of the sect known as the "Tang sect," and that he is also known as "the dragon thief." The light storm that the shadow clones are using to launch the dragon storm is the same thing that the "dragon thief" used to do earlier in the chapter, when he was using his thousand year soul skill to capture and destroy the shadow clone. The light dragon thief is using the same skill to destroy the "shadow clone." The shadow clone is the one that controls the "crane," and he is using it to capture a dragon. The shadow clones will not be able to capture or destroy the dragon this time, because they are using their thousand-year skill to do so. This is a big mistake, because the shadow-clones are using a lot of their soul power, while the "Dragon thief" is using only his thousand- year skill.
