In this chapter, we learn that sword-fighting is extremely rare, and that when they do meet, they are determined by who has the most thorough understanding of the art. In other words, the more thorough one's cultivation is, the better one can perform his or her sword skills. In this case, it seems like the skytigers are stronger than the clanks because they're able to use the "starlight chaos" to their advantage. This is the first time that we've seen this kind of battle armor, and it's so awesome that Shmoop can't believe how awesome it is.
