In this chapter, we learn that the students are planning to attack the tower, but that they have been told not to do so by the teacher. The students, however, are not planning to harm themselves. They are just trying to get out of the academy, so they are excited to find a strong individual to communicate with. They plan to fight the tower's mecha warriors, but the teacher has not told them to stop. The mecha fighters are equipped with armor that can boost their combat abilities. The children are horrified at the idea that they would use the mecha to set off an alarm. They do not realize that they are risking their lives for the sake of the tower. The only thing they can do is to follow the orders of their parents.
