He tells his dad that he's just friends with Lin, and they've been searching for him on the internet. They've seen all his sins, and now they want to come home with him not to be like that. The narrator is worried, but his dad won't listen. He says that he found out that Lin has transferred to a different school, and that Lin isn't afraid to be late at school. He also tells the narrator that Lin's family is moving out of their house, and Lin is so heartless that he never expected to reunite with them.
